Restoration of two flights of stairs in Gwaun Valley

We are often asked if we to carry out restoration work on surfaces other than floors, such as

Solid wood kitchen work tops, coffee tables, dining room tables doors and skirtings.

In this case we were asked to restore two flights of stairs in our client’s home in the Gwaun Valley.

The 32 steps, risers, handrails,64 spindles and 3 landing areas were sanded right back to bare wood. This process was carried out using hand sanders only. We then applied 3 coats of Zinsser All coats white to the risers and spindles, followed with the application of two coats Bona Hardwax Oil to the steps and handrails.
