Engineered Oak Wood Floor Fitting Llandessilio

Our client chose this oiled finish 189 mm x 20 mm x 6 mm birch ply back engineered wood flooring for the ground floor of their new build to cope with the under floor heating that had been installed.

We adhered the engineered oak boards to the poured concrete sub floor with Bona R 850 flexible adhesive, after keying the ultra smooth finish of the poured concrete with a buffer and abrasive scotch pad. A 15 mm gap was left round all the edges to allow for expansion. These gaps will be covered with the new skirting boards when fitted.
